Pine’s softball team scored four runs in the seventh inning to capture a 7-6 walk off victory over Berwick in the bi-district round of the Division III at home on Monday.

Pine trailed 6-4 going into the bottom of the seventh, but scored three runs for the win.

Kirbee Magee singled, doubled and drove in four runs.

Madyson Dunn doubled, scored two runs and drove in a run.

Alyssa Phelps doubled and scored one run.

Bailey Brooks singled and scored a run.

Kori Sumrall singled.

Addyson Phelps scored two runs.

No. 16 Pine is 12-7 and will play against top-seeded Sterlington (28-6) on April 19 at 4:30 p.m. in a road game. Sterlington had a bye in the first round.

No. 17 Berwick caps off a 10-13 season.
