Kathleen Raborn Warner, age 92, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at her daughter’s residence in Franklinton, La.  She was born on March 11, 1931, in Bogalusa, La. to Joseph and Rosa Lee Munn Raborn.  She was a 1952 graduate of Baton Rouge General Nursing School and retired as an R.N. surgical nurse.  Kathleen was a lifetime member of Monroe Street Baptist Church where she was the church clerk for over twenty years.  Her real passion was plants and flowers.

Kathleen is survived by her son, Emmett Lindon (Kathy) Warner; daughters, Janet Warner Crain, Robin Warner Jones, and Freda Warner (Edward) Jones; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild, and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Rosa Lee Raborn; her husband, Emmett James Warner; brothers, Joseph Raborn, Willie Frank “Pete” Raborn, Martin Raborn; sisters, Talitha Shindle, Mildred Cothern, and Betty Joyce Creel; and her son in law, James B. Jones, Jr.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until time for the services at 2 p.m.  with the Rev. David Easterling officiating the services.  Interment to follow at Seal Cemetery.  The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Monroe Street Baptist Church.
