Varnado names Toler its March Student of the Month

De`Andria Toler is an 18-year-old senior at Varnado High School. She is the daughter of De’Sean and Keedra Toler.
Since her freshman year in high school, she has been involved in a variety of clubs such as BETA, the National Technical Honors Society, the National Honors Society, Student Council and Manager for the Varnado Blue Angels. Over the years, she has taken on leadership roles such as becoming the President of BETA and National Technical Honor Society, and is serving as Reporter for VHS Student Council.
At Varnado High School, she is enrolled in various Dual Enrollment classes including, English, Biology, Psychology, Math and Speech. She is very passionate about school and takes pride in her schoolwork. De`Andria is skilled in technology and a certified in CPR and a certified Emergency Medical Responder.
Throughout high school, she was awarded Student of the Year for VHS, Citizenship Award, President’s award and was recommended for Louisiana Girls State. She has also been recognized for the Taylor award, Academic Excellence, Biology Department Award, and U.S. History Department Award, Certificate of Excellence for WorkKeys, Adobe certification, Microsoft Word Certification and Powerpoint certifications. She is an honor roll student and has been selected for Literary Rally every year since she’s been in high school.
When she graduates high school, she wishes to attend Alcorn State University, where she will major in Criminal Justice. De`Andria plans to attend law school to continue her study of becoming a criminal defense lawyer. Soon after completing her law degree, she plans to work in a criminal defense law firm.
