Pine’s baseball team captured a 14-11 victory over Maurepas in a contest held at home on Wednesday.

Pine led 14-6 through six innings, but Maurepas scored five runs in the seventh to draw closer, but Pine hung on for the win.

Preston Stogner singled three times, drove in two runs and scored three runs.

Brody Thomas tallied two hits including a triple, four runs batted in and a run scored.

Luke Spears went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs.

Trey Knight singled, doubled, drove in a run and scored four runs.

Trace Steele posted two singles with an RBI and two runs scored.

Brady Polk singled with two runs driven in and two runs scored.

Ethan Ryals and Hayden Logsdon both singled and scored a run.

Levi Spears drove in a run.

Pine’s next game will be against Walker on the road on March 24.
