On March 18, 2023, Mr. Ronald Wayne Thomas, Jr., passed away in Magnolia, Miss.. Ronald was born on June 8, 1968, in Bogalusa, La., where he graduated from Bogalusa High School in 1986. He later went on to graduate from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2003 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics. Ronald had a special interest in Tae Kwon Do and had received his black belt. He was also an avid scuba diver, who loved the beach and the ocean. He suffered from serious heart and lung problems the last ten years of his life.

He was brilliant, kind, and loved his friends and family. Ronald would do anything to help someone in need with his giving and honest personality. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church and enjoyed an intellectual debate or discussion.

Ronald is survived by a sister: Rhonda Thomas; one nephew: Jeffery Williams; special cousins: Jack and Missy Barber; and a special family member: Cindi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Wayne Thomas, Sr. and Carolyn Little Carroll and his grandparents.

Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements. Visitation will be on Monday, March 27, 2023, in the funeral home chapel starting at 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.. On Tuesday, March 28, 2023, visitation will resume at 11 a.m. until the service starts at 2 p.m..

Services will be officiated by Bro. Field Thigpen and interment will immediately follow at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa, La.
