Pine’s softball team hit three home runs and defeated Bogalusa, 25-0, in three innings in a game on Tuesday that was held at the Avenue B Sports Complex.

Kirbee Magee, Dillon Sumrall and Bailey Dunn all homered for Pine.

Sumrall, who also singled, drove in four runs and scored three runs.

Magee and Dunn both posted three batted in and two runs scored.

Alyssa Phelps singled, doubled, scored three runs and drove in a run.

Kloie Altentaler went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs scored.

Madyson Dunn doubled and scored two runs.

Kori Sumrall, Sammy Jo Thomas and Lakyra Conerly all scored two runs, while Addyson Phelps, Anniston McKenzie, Lily Crain and Katie Crain all scored a run.

Dillon Sumrall pitched the three shutout innings, allowing no hits with six strikeouts and three walks.

Pine’s next game is March 23 against Salmen on the road, while Bogalusa plays again on March 23 against Albany on the road.
