Mt. Hermon School’s softball team was defeated by defending Class B state champion Holden, 18-1, in their District 7-B opener at home on March 20.

Kailee Budde had the only hit for Mt. Hermon.

McKenlyn Garcia scored the team’s run.

Mt. Hermon will play again on March 23 against Varnado at the old Angie High School site.
