The Bogalusa YMCA has a motto of Christian values, serving others, being good citizens, and making a difference! On Friday staff members of the Y wanted to recognize Bogalusa High School JROTC members who exemplify those exact characteristics!

With Pizza and snacks in had, Y staff thanked students for participating in the recent Stem Cafe and volunteering their time to make a difference in their community!

“We felt it important to hold a luncheon and acknowledge all the hard work these kids do! They give their time and work selflessly each weekend! That doesn’t go unnoticed! Certainly not by us at the YMCA! We appreciate the students of our future!”  says YMCA CEO Toni St Philip.

Students were presented with a plaque on behalf of the YMCA in appreciation for their efforts along with their lunch.
