Charles Pepe, age 89, passed away on Tuesday Jan. 10, 2023. He was born in Bogalusa on Aug. 31, 1933. He owned and operated Pepe’s Drugs in Bogalusa for years.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elizabeth Pepe of 66 years. Also preceded in death were his parents George and Jennie Pepe; one brother Dr. John Pepe; three sisters Mary Pepe Drouant, Lena Pepe Gonzales and Dora Pepe Hudson.

He is survived by his four children Louise Pepe Walker, Mary Ann Pepe Norris, Charles Michael Pepe (Nana), and George Edward Pepe (Nancy); 10 grandchildren Kara Leigh Walker, Adrienne Elizabeth Aucoin (Adrian Jr.), Allison Anne Norris, Ryan Lee Pepe, Andrew Reese Pepe, Ross Michael Pepe, Michael Reed Pepe, Brandon Edwin Pepe, Jacob Thomas Pepe, and Austin Charles Pepe; two great grandchildren Adele Elizabeth Aucoin, and Adrian Emile (Trey) Aucoin III. Also one brother Angelo Pepe and one sister Joyce Ann Pepe Laughlin.

He will be sadly missed by many.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday. Feb. 4, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. in Ponemah Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to the home of Wilton and Ginny Dunaway after the services.
