Cynthia “Cindy” Muscarello Galofaro passed away on Jan. 11, 2023 in Covington, La. at the age 65.

She was born on Saturday Jan. 19, 1957 in Hammond, La. to the late Frances Alfonso Muscarello and the late Santo Muscarello. She was a resident of Hammond, La. Cindy is survived by her husband Joseph “Joey” John Galofaro III; sons: Dr. Brian Joseph Galofaro and his wife Kristi and Matthew Jacob Galofaro and his wife Bailey; grandchildren: Abby McNeal, Lauren McNeal and Ella Claire Galofaro; siblings: Carol Watts and her husband Charles, Betty Oster, Peter Muscarello and his wife Louise and Frances Hargrave and her husband Joseph and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Cindy was also preceded in death by her father-in-law Joseph J. Galofaro Jr. and her mother-in-law Lena Mike Galofaro.

Services were held at Holy Ghost Catholic in Hammond, La. on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023.

Interment followed in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond La.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society and St. Jude’s in Cindy’s name.
