 On Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, Jim was called by our Heavenly Father to live eternally in his Heavenly home with him.

Jim leaves to cherish his loving memories, three sons: Eldry (Lucinda) Guynes of Laplace La., Don Guynes of Bogalusa, La., Joesph White of Slidell, La.; one daughter: Marquita (Antonio) Peters of Bogalusa, La.; five grandsons: Terry Guynes, Chris Guynes, Brian Jackson, Corey Hodges and Kenyin Guynes; two granddaughters: Timeka (Darnell) Brown – Chapman, Beverly Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his ex-wife Willie Dean Guynes; two sons Andre Guynes and Brain Payne.

Drive through viewing Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral service Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023 at 11a.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home Chapel 809 E. Third Street Bogalusa, La. with Rev. Christopher Matthews – Officiating. Interment – Bogalusa Cemetery.
