Pine’s boys basketball team defeated Franklinton, 51-49, in a home game that was held on Friday.

Kendall Fountain scored a game-high 20 points that included a 3-pointer.

D.J. Garrett posted 15 points and he made a 3-pointer.

Ahvon Johnson and Zach Thomas both had five points. Johnson made a 3-pointer.

Luke Spears tallied four points.

Michael Dupre recorded two points.

Franklinton’s R.J. Hart posted 18 points to lead his team. Hart made two 3-pointers.

Tradell Causey recorded 13 points.

Darrell Harvey tallied five points that included a 3-pointer.

Tim Conerly and N’Jyren Williams both had four.

Jaiden Garrett put up three.

Senqualon Conerly had two.

Pine’s next game will be on Dec. 20 against Poplarville in Mississippi on Dec. 20.

Franklinton’s next game is on Dec. 19 against Parkview Baptist at home.
