Robert “Bob” Graves, 75, a native of Franklinton, La. and resident of Angie, La., passed away on Monday, Dec. 12, 2022.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Eula Jarrell Graves of Angie, La.; two daughters, Roberta (Dustin) Clement of Picayune, Miss. and Michelle (Kevin) Martin of Purvis, Miss.; his grandchildren, Hunter Martin, Shelby Martin and Tenley Clement; two sisters, Kathy (Tommy) Graham of Franklinton, La. and Joyce Carr of Tylertown, Miss.; his brother-in-law, Doyle (Faye) Jarrell; three sisters-in-law, Helen (John) Logan, Dot Graves and Betty Temples; and his niece who was also his caregiver for the past few years, Brenda O’Neal.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Nettie Graves; his brother, Paul Graves; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Estis and Edna Jarrell; three brothers-in-law, William “Pete” Barber, Bennie Carr and Wilbur Jarrell; and two sisters-in-law, Lillie Mae Hodges and Verdie Mae Dykes.

He was a Vietnam veteran and retired as a Corrections Sergeant with Rayburn Correctional Center.

A service in celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022, at noon at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa, La. with Bro. Duane Ball officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Musterground Cemetery in Angie, La.
