Ms. Donna M. Ellzey, a resident of Bogalusa, La., was born to Winfred and Ina Willene Ellzey on Sept. 15, 1960. On Nov. 18, 2022, our loving mother, daughter and sister earned her wings and was called to the heavens above. Donna was a dedicated member of Harry’s Chapel UMC. Prior to moving back to Bogalusa five years ago, Donna was a dedicated member of West Angeles Church of God in Christ. She worked for over 30 years for the County of Los Angeles. Her love of the city of Los Angeles was shown through her time spent feeding the homeless during Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Donna’s memory and legacy will be cherished by; her mother, Ina Willene Ellzey, her son, Sheldon Guy Wilson, her sister, S. Renee (Kirk) Hill, her brothers Stanley (Celia) Burris and Alvin (Bernice) Moses, dedicated cousin Ben (Angie) Gardner, life long friend Guy Wilson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Winfred Ellzey, Godbrother Alton (Carol) Smith, grandparents Claude and Beulah Green and Albert and Luchia Ellzey and godparents Richard and Emma Woodridge.
