Mr. Leo Joseph Mickenheim Sr., a resident of Bogalusa, La. passed away on Nov. 22, 2022 at the age of 98. He was born on Nov. 3, 1924 to the late Edward Charles Mickenheim and Anita Frosch Mickenheim. Mr. Leo was a Veteran that served in WWII with the Airforce.

Mr. Leo is survived by his sons; Leo (Judi) Mickenheim Jr. of Bogalusa, La., Perry (Charlynn) Mickenheim of Bogalusa, La., Greg Mickenheim of Bogalusa, La.; a daughter Joanne (Tim) Mickenheim Thompson of Port Allen, La. Mr. Mickenheim was also survived by his grandchildren; Jason Scott (Lauren) Mickenheim, Kelli N. Mickenheim (Jon) Woods, Jennifer L. Mickenheim (Aaron) Blom, Tanner (Melissa) Mickenheim, Taylor Mickenheim, Tanner Thompson, Chelsea (Dakota) Woodruff and 11 great grandchildren. 

Mr. Leo was preceded in death by his wife Esther Josephine Wells Mickenheim; his parents Edward Charles and Anita Frosch Mickenheim; and a sister Inez Thomas.

Visitation will be held Monday Nov. 28, 2022, at Annunciation Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.  Mass will begin at 11 a.m. with Father Angel Diaz, Father Pat Collum, and Father Daniel Brouillette officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.  Military graveside Rites will be performed by The American Legion Post #24. In Lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Annunciation Catholic Church.
