Mrs. Mildred Ainsworth, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022, at the age of 97. Mrs. Ainsworth was a secretary at Superior Avenue School in Bogalusa for 31 years.

Mrs. Ainsworth is survived by her daughter, Connie (Larry) Crain; her son, Rodney (Gail) Ainsworth; and a daughter-in-law, Patsy. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ainsworth was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sammy Ainsworth; her son, Charles Ronald Ainsworth; a brother, Woodrow Hutcheson; and a sister, Jo Cantrell.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Nov. 6, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from noon until time for the services at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Bruce Morris officiating the services. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
