What is the STA-Southland Steel Invitational?

As previously stated, the STA-Southland Steel Invitational is a high school football tournament . The tournament features some of the best teams in the state of Louisiana, as well as teams from other states in the region.

The STA-Southland Steel Invitational was founded in 2012 by former NFL player and current Southland Steel owner, Willie Roaf. The tournament is named after Roaf’s company, which is based in Shreveport.

The first edition of the STA-Southland Steel Invitational took place in 2013, and featured eight teams from Louisiana. The tournament has since expanded to include teams from other states in the region, such as Texas, Mississippi, and Arkansas.

The tournament attracts some of the best high school football players in the country, as well as college scouts and recruiters.
