Pine won against First Baptist Christian School, but was defeated by Pearl River in volleyball matches that were held on Sept. 29 and on Tuesday.

The game against First Baptist Christian School was 25-19, 13-25, 25-14, 20-25, 16-14 on the road.

Samantha Thomas downed 25 kills and blocked six shots.

Cameron Magee posted six kills and two digs.

Mia Strahan recorded four kills.

Addi Nobles had two kills and an ace.

Katie Crain tallied a kill, an ace and one block.

Abbi Schilling served an ace and pulled up a dig.

Gabby Ladner had four digs and three aces.

Tuesday’s match at home was a 25-9, 25-23, 25-11 loss to Pearl River.

Pine’s next match will take place on Tuesday against Doyle at home.
