YMCA Golf Tournament postponed until October
The 18th annual YMCA Golf Classic will be held on Oct. 15 after weather forced the event to be postponed in August.
Registration will start at 8 a.m. with tee time set for 9 a.m. and lunch at 11 a.m.
The cost for the two-person scramble is $100 per golfer.
The cost includes cart, green fees, mulligans and lunch. Participants are asked to bring their own cart if they have one.
Golfers may drop off registration at the YMCA or mail it to 411 Ave. B, Bogalusa, LA, 70427.

Jiu Jitsu Planet holding tournament
Jiu Jitsu Planet is having its inaugural Submissions Freaks Tournament on Dec. 3 at the Bogalusa YMCA.
The event is being held to raise money for the YMCA.
The tournament will be a Gi (wearing the uniform) and No-gi (no uniform). Bouts will be three rounds. The first will be 10 minutes and two five-minute rounds and competitors must get a submission to win or it will be a draw.
Competitors are ages 6-up.
The tournament is only accepting about 15-20 competitors and there will be 15-20 matches.
Spectator tickets will be sold at the door.

Bogalusa High School tennis looking for donations
Bogalusa High School is starting a tennis team this year and the group is accepting donations.
The team will play a junior varsity schedule this year.
