On Sept. 4, 2022, God, in His infinite wisdom, called Trent O’Neal Brown to a place of rest. A place where there is no more sorrow, pain, or tears.

He leaves to cherish his memories: mother and stepfather, Rosie L. Jackson and Airl Jackson of New Orleans; daughter, Kejuanna Mingo, Angie; four sisters, Sheneda L. Jones (Anthony), Airlynn J. Garriet (Turonzo) of New Orleans, Monique Brown and Shaquetta Dean; brother, Shawn Brown of New Orleans; three grandchildren, Darren Mingo, JaQuarius Mingo and Javius Mingo of Angie; four uncles, (godparents) Levi Lewis (Katherine) of Varnado, Edgar Lewis (Anna Mae, deceased) of Clinton, Md., William “Bill” Lewis (Tresslar) of Varnado, and Wallace Lewis (Evelyn) of Hammond; a very special cousin, Wesley “Bossman” Cyprian Jr. (Lawanda) of Jackson, Miss.; a special friend, Lahoma Garrett of Bogalusa; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

His grandparents, Ed and Laura Lewis, and his father, Glenn E. Brown, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, from noon until 1 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at Mary’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 63343 Parish Road 402 in Angie. The Rev. Terrence August will be officiating/pastor and the Rev. Nolan Robinson will be the eulogist. Interment will be held in the Moses Cemetery.
