Franklinton is at home on Friday, facing Covington in a week two match up that starts at 7 p.m.
Franklinton comes into this week with an 0-1 record after a 44-21 loss to Bogalusa.
Zion Anders threw a touchdown and ran for one.
His touchdown pass was to Daniel Bryant.
Rayshone Manuel ran for a score for Franklinton.
D’Michael Ward recovered a fumble for the Demons.
Covington enters this week with a 1-0 mark, as the Lions defeated John Ehret, 50-28.
These teams have met every year since at least 2009 except for 2020. Covington has won every game against Franklinton since 2015, including last year’s 34-21 contest.
