Bogalusa Blues and Heritage 5K Race is in September
The Bogalusa Blues and Heritage 5K Race will take place on Sept. 24 at 8 a.m. at Cassidy Park.
Early registration, which is before Sept. 1, is $25.
From Sept. 1 through the day of the race, the fee is $30.
T-shirts will not be guaranteed after Sept. 6.
Registration on the day of the race will be from 7 a.m. until 7:45 a.m.

YMCA Golf Tournament postponed until October
The 18th annual YMCA Golf Classic that was scheduled to take place on Saturday, Aug. 27 at the Bogalusa Country Club was postponed.
The event will now be held on Oct. 15
Registration will start at 8 a.m. with tee time set for 9 a.m. and lunch at 11 a.m.
The cost for the two-person scramble is $100 per golfer.
The cost includes cart, green fees, mulligans and lunch. Participants are asked to bring their own cart if they have one.
Golfers may drop off registration at the YMCA or mail it to 411 Ave. B, Bogalusa, LA, 70427.

Bogalusa High School tennis looking for donations
Bogalusa High School is starting a tennis team this year and the group is accepting donations.
The team will play a junior varsity schedule this year.
