Ben’s Ford Christian School moved to 1-1 with a 26-8 victory over Prentiss Christian School in a District 2A2 contest on Friday at home.

“I think it was a great team win, starting out 1-0 in the district,” Ben’s Ford Christian School coach Destin Pittman said. “Our defense was much improved. After they scored on the first drive, we made some adjustments and we were able to shut them down for the rest of the night. Offensively, we were able to do what we wanted to the entire night, whether that was running or passing.”

Ben’s Ford trailed 8-6 after the first quarter, but the Eagles scored six points in both the second and third quarters before adding eight more in the fourth period for the victory.

Ein Knight threw for 86 yards with three touchdowns and an interception on 5-of-7. He also ran 90 yards on 19 carries (4.7 per attempt) with a touchdown.

Jonah Holston led the receivers with four catches for 78 yards and a score. He also ran for 10 yards.

Nate Descant made a catch for 28 yards and a touchdown.

Caden Pajak made a catch for two yards and a touchdown.

Gage Adams ran for 40 yards on 11 attempts.
