Sister Shirley Hart Magee was born to the late union of Robert Hart and Margie Ann Warren of Franklinton. She was the second of eight children born from this union.

Shirley departed this life on June 19, 2022, at her home in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Shirley leaves to cherish her precious memories: her husband, Larry Magee; her sons, Brady, Trace and Jordan; her brothers, Nikita P. (Chris) Hart of Plano, Texas, and Corey A. (Caprice) Hart of Franklinton; sisters, Norma J. Hart of Franklinton, Debra A. (Richard) Clark of Stone Mountain, Ga., and LaQuisha H. Long of Franklinton; brother-in-law, Shedrick Magee of Grand Prairie; sister-in-law, Cynthia Johnice of Baton Rouge and Nicole Magee of Baton Rouge; three adorable grandchildren, Harmony Magee, Bohol Magee and Aspen Magee, mother-in-law, Katherine; and a host of nieces, and nephews, aunts, other relatives and a multitude of dear friends.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Hart and Margie Ann Warren.

The drive-through viewing will be Friday, July 1, at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton, from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

The funeral service will be Saturday, July 2, at 11 a.m. at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, with the Rev. Johnny Causey Sr., pastor, officiating. Interment will be at the Bethel Cemetery.
