On Friday, June 17, a Bogalusa park was named “Butler Park” in honor of the late Barbara Conrad Butler and her husband Coach Eugene Butler.

This dedication is due to the Butlers’ many years of selfless acts of service to the City of Bogalusa and to the youth of the community.

Butler’s Community Park is located on East 8th Street, close to Mr. and Mrs. Butler’s family home.
