Amy Hopkins Russell, a resident of Prairieville, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the age of 67.

Amy was a devout Christian, loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her mother, Marie King; her husband of 45 years, Rick Russell; her two sons, Jason (Shelley) Russell and Joshua (Gemma) Russell; her sister, Effie (Bill) Moore; her brother, John Hopkins; and her six beautiful grandchildren, Camille, Jason Jr, Evelyn, Louis, James and Henry.

Amy’s family extends a special thanks to Susan Hunt, Amy’s cancer buddy. Amy’s family will hold a private service at a later date for family members. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
