Mr. William “W.T.” Thomas Amacker, a resident of Poplarville, Miss., passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022, at the age of 83.

Mr. Amacker is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jan Amacker; his daughters, Doreene (Mike) Hollis of Crossroads, Miss., and Donna Beckham of White Sands, Miss.; four grandchildren, Christy, Jonathan, Matthew and Amanda; seven great-grandchildren, Chaz, Abby, Joshua, Kason, Zoey, Ava and Bryce; his brothers, Butch Amacker and Pat Amacker, both of Crossroads; and also his sisters, Dolly (Doyelas) Bedwell of Crossroads, and Hueylene Winstead of Ocean Springs, Miss.

Mr. Amacker was preceded in death by his parents, Houston and Ladette Amacker; a sister, Mary Sue Iversteine; and a son-in-law, Terry Beckham.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 16, from 9 a.m. until time for the services at 11 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Poplarville. Interment will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Billy Smith and the Rev. Dan Finley officiating the services.
