ADAPT, in collaboration with SAMHSA’S Partnership For Success, is providing banners to churches and other organizations in Washington Parish to bring awareness to the overdose epidemic that has flooded our country.

ADAPT is calling for our communities to get involved in the fight to save lives. Washington Parish is number one per capita in the state of Louisiana for Opioid overdose deaths.

The “Save A Life! Carry Narcan!” campaign is a harm reduction effort to provide help in the instance of an overdose. Narcan is a nasal spray that can save the life of someone overdosing from opioids, giving them another chance to reclaim their life from the disease of addiction.
