Summer food service program underway

The City of Bogalusa School District is participating in the Summer Food Service Program during the month of June.

Meals (both breakfast and lunch) will be provided to all eligible children without charge.

Meals will be offered at the sites and times as follows:

  • Bogalusa High School, 100 M.J. Israel Drive — All Mondays through Thursdays, until Thursday, June 30. Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. until noon.
  • Byrd Avenue Primary School, 1600 Byrd Ave. — All Mondays through Thursdays, until Thursday, June 30. Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. until noon.
  • Central Elementary School, 400 Spartans Ave. — All Mondays through Thursdays, until Thursday, June 30. Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. until noon.

Acceptance and participating requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability, age or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
