The top players from the classes of 2023, 2024 and 2025 are in Hammond playing in the Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association Underclass All-State Games at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field on the campus of Southeastern Louisiana University.

The event began on June 7 and will continue on June 8.

One local player is competing.

Franklinton’s Micah Wascom, who will enter his junior season in the upcoming school year, will play for the East.

Wascom played on June 7 at 4:45 p.m. and on June 8 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

The event has four teams, the North, South East and West.
