Clarence Williams was born Jan. 29, 1935, to the late David and Lillie Span of Bogalusa. He departed this life peacefully at his home on May 5, 2022, in Bogalusa.

Clarence Williams is survived by his wife, Catherine Williams of New York; one son, Eric (Jennifer) Williams of New York; one brother, Gregory Span of Bogalusa; two grandchildren, Evan and Leah Williams of New York and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Lillie Span, and his sister, Katherine Span.
