The Bayou Lacombe Cardinals took the trip to McComb, Miss. to play the Mississippi Steelers. At the last minute, the Cardinals staff was notified that the Steelers did not have enough participants to field a team to compete.

The game resulted in a forfeit by the Steelers and evolved into a 7-on-7 scrimmage between the two organizations.

The Cardinals move to 6-1 on the season. Thank you to those fans who made the trip, we appreciate you. We will be home on April 30 against the Walton County Chiefs (4-2) at Lakeshore.
