The Washington Parish Library is connecting users with free Zoom financial workshops on topics like paying down debt, saving for college, and Medicare basics, starting in April and continuing through September.

The workshop series has six courses — each devoted to a specific financial topic. To accommodate as many people as possible, each course is held twice on Tuesdays and once on Fridays, with a new course each week. Users can attend any class and do not need to attend all of them to participate.

Users can choose from classes at 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, or noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday.

To register, visit online at www.tinyurl.com/juliaworkshoprsvp.

Upcoming classes include:

  • April 26 or April 29 — Building Wealth; Asset Accumulation.
  • May 3 or May 6 — Saving for College; Retirement Planning.
  • May 24 or May 27 — Long Term Care; Medicare Basic; Wealth Preservation.
