Quincy LeTroy Martin, 39, passed away peacefully March 8, 2022. He was born June 9, 1982, in Bogalusa, to Connie and Michael Martin Sr.

Quincy loved to love on family and friends. He had a passion for baseball at an early age when playing for the Sunset Tigers for many years. As he grew older, he developed a love for basketball and went on to win many games and awards, including personal accolades for Bogalusa High School where he graduated in 2000.

After graduating high school, Quincy moved to California where he soon met his future wife Dolores, and later had their son Niko.

Quincy is survived by his wife, Delores (Lola) Martin; son, Niko Martin; and daughter, Jenaria Franklin. Furthermore, he is also survived by his mother and father, Connie and Michael Martin Sr.; two brothers, Michael A. Martin Jr. and Alex J. Scott, both of Bogalusa; four sisters, Sheron (Carlos Sr.) Butler of Shreveport, and Dawana (Emmitte) Tolbert of Tucson, Ariz., Candance Scott Otillio of Slidell, and Acura Gardner of Bronx, N.Y.; one god-sister, Azaria Anders of Bogalusa; two god-brothers, Jaron Perry and John (Danielle) Brice, both of Bogalusa; a special uncle, Antjuan Moody of Woodland, Calif.; a special cousin, Rodney Anders of Hattiesburg, Miss.; plus a host of aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Quincy was preceded in death by grandparents, Willean Quinn, Frank Moody and Carrie and Jack Martin.
