Aaija Rennai Turner (ART) is a life-motivated artist, who aside from learning the fundamentals of art in primary and secondary school, is totally self-taught.

While her current focus is in mixed media, abstract expression, at the age of 24, she is equally talented in composing photorealistic portraits and other classical genres. Turner personally describes her current work as “a mystical and emotional connection and exploration of a universe.

For Turner, art is life-saving, life-affirming, and a calling. Riverstone Gallery-Fine Art Apothecary and Holistic Services, located at 415 South Columbia St. in Bogalusa, will be hosting Turner’s art gallery debut and opening on Saturday, April 9, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.
