Franklinton competed in the Ponchatoula Tournament

Franklinton’s Lady Demons went 1-2 in the Ponchatoula Tournament on March 18 and Saturday and were defeated by Loranger and Covington on Monday and Thursday.

Friday’s game was a 15-0 loss to Dutchtown in four innings.

Franklinton played two games on Saturday and went 1-1.

The first was a 24-6 win over St. Thomas Aquinas.

Skylar Branch drove in five runs and went 3-for-5 with two doubles and three runs scored.

Isabella Causey posted three hits that included a double with three RBIs and three runs scored.

Audrey Carter tallied two hits with one for a double, three runs batted in and two runs scored.

Ashley Smith recorded two hits with a double, two runs batted in and four runs scored.

K.K. Schexnider singled twice, drove in three runs and scored three runs.

Rayanna Schillings singled and scored four runs.

Shyanne Burris had a hit with two RBIs and three runs scored.

Amaya Robertson singled, drove in three runs and scored a run.

Kaleigh Provost scored a run.

The next game was a 15-0 loss to Albany in six innings.

Robertson had a hit.

Monday’s game was a 12-1 loss to Loranger in five innings.

Schillings tripled and drove in a run.

Robertson singled and scored a run.

Schexnider and Burris both singled.

On Thursday, Franklinton was defeated by Covington, 7-2, at home.

Causey tallied three hits and a run scored.

Burris and Smith both posted two hits.

Branch singled and scored a run.

Carter and Robertson both drove in a run.

Franklinton’s next game will be on Tuesday against St. Scholastica Academy at home.
