Franklinton’s Lady Demons were defeated in games that were held March 8-10 at home.

On March 8, Franklinton was defeated by Jewel Sumner, 12-2, in five innings.

K.K. Schexnider doubled, drove in a run and scored a run.

Caylin Turnage tripled and scored a run.

Aayah Faour singled.

Ashley Smith drove in a run.

The game against Ponchatoula was 10-0 in five innings on March 9.

Schexnider and Turnage both singled.

On Thursday, Franklinton was defeated by St. Scholastica Academy, 11-7, in the District 9-4A opener.

Skylar Branch went 3-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and three runs scored.

Isabella Causey tallied three hits that included a double with an RBI and a run scored.

Turnage recorded two singles and drove in two runs.

Smith tallied two hits and a run scored.

Shyanne Burris singled, drove in two runs and scored a run.

Faour singled and scored a run.

Aubrey Carter singled.

Franklinton’s next game will be on March 15 on the road against Lakeshore.
