Last week at the Bogalusa Branch Library, the young patrons celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday by reading Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?

The kids learned about onomatopoeias (when words minic the sounds they actually make, like “clang!”) and were able to express their own with crafts and a sound game similar to musical chairs.

Join in on all the fun at the library this month. They will be celebrating Women’s History Month with interactive displays, an activity book, and story times about women in history. There are also activities planned for St. Patrick’s Day, including “leprechaun traps” to be set up at the library.
