Mrs. Willie Faye Miller, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, in Carriere, Miss.

Mrs. Faye graduated as Salutatorian from Varnado High School in 1961 and then went on to Southeastern University. She completed her Radiology/Ultrasound Medical Sonographer in Shreveport. Mrs. Faye married her beloved husband, Larry B. Miller, on June 12, 1965, and they had two children, Kimberly LaRae Wagner and Larry Brian Miller.

Mrs. Faye retired in 2007 from LSU Washington St. Tammany Hospital after nearly 39 years of Xray and Ultrasound. She was a member of Superior Avenue Baptist Church and was also a member of Hilltoppers, Southeast Garden Club, and SABC Flower Committee. Mrs. Faye was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose title she loved the most. Her pride and joy were Drew and Caroline.

Mrs. Faye leaves behind her loving children, Kim (David) Wagner of Bogalusa, and Larry Brian Miller of New Orleans. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Andrew Ty and Caroline Lara Wagner of Bogalusa; her siblings, Michael Wayne (LaDonna) Thomas and Kay (Mike) Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Larry B. Miller; her parents, Willie John and Lexie Seal Thomas; a brother, Ronald Thomas; a sister, Judy Jacklyn Thomas Farmer; her grandparents, Milous Seal and Judy Seal Grant and B.J. and Karen Thomas; her mother and father-in-law, E.J. Miller and Katherine Sheridan Jackson; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Farmer; and a sister-in-law, Brenda Miller Folse.

A visitation will be held Saturday, March 5, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until time for the services at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Clay Norwood officiating. Interment will follow at Seal Cemetery.
