Edna Earline Fornea, 94, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, in Pearl, Miss., where she resided with her nephew, Ramsey Horn, his wife, Faran Horn, and her great nephew, Shayne Horn.
She was born in Alabama to Shirley William Myrick and Leona Arta Jemison on April 6, 1927. Earline was a long-time State of Louisiana employee and enjoyed fishing with her husband, Coley Fornea, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Semmie Brown, Eula Horn, Trudy Shackelford, and Shirley Ann Sprehe; and one brother, Mastin Oliver Myrick. She had no children of her own. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family and friends.
Funeral arrangements are scheduled to be an interment at Bogalusa Ponemah Cemetery on Thursday, March 3, at 11 a.m. Services are entrusted to Brown McGehee Funeral Home of Bogalusa.
