Deidra “Dee Dee” Simmons Creel, a resident of Bogalusa, was born on June 5, 1962, to the late Willie L. and Mavis Simmons. She passed away on Feb. 27, 2022.

Dee Dee leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Elmer Creel Jr. She also leaves her brother, Willie Ray Simmons; brother and sister-in-law, Matt and Misty Simmons; a sister-in-law, Amy Simmons; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Elmer and Linda Creel; and also special friends Leroy and Scooter Jones and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Along with her mother and father, Dee Dee is preceded in death by a son, Roy Thomas Williams; brothers, Wade Simmons and Ricky Simmons; and a sister-in-law, Rusty Simmons.

A memorial for Dee Dee will be announced for a later date.
