Diversity and uniqueness were celebrated on Wednesday, Feb. 9, at the Bogalusa Branch Library.

Mrs. Jennifer (children’s programs coordinator Jennifer Seals) read “The Day You Began,” by Jaqueline Woodson. The book describes what it is like be different, but how that uniqueness makes you special and you can always find common ground through your words.

The young patrons made “welcome” signs and played a game to learn how diverse their group was.
