Alton “Cheeze” Wilson Sr., a New Orleans Cook, entered into eternal rest Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022.

He was the beloved husband of Leticha Ellsworth Wilson; father of four children, Alton Jr., Dylan Wilson, Savion Ellsworth and Mya Cornelius; and the brother of Shawn Wilson Brown (Larry), Pearl, Englisha Wilson and Cassie Wilson-Bright. Alton was the son-in-law of Pamela Ellsworth and Patrick Thompson.

Alton was proceeded in death by his parents, Perry Hall and Phyllis Wilson; grand-mother, Blanche Wilson; and great-grandmother, Elmer Fortenberry. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A drive-through viewing was held on Friday, Feb. 11, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.
