Sherry Elizabeth Wood, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Monday, Jan. 31, 2022, at the age of 74. She was employed for over 40 years at Bogalusa Community Medical Center.

Sherry is survived by one nephew, John Mason “Woody” Wood; two nieces, Melissa Wood and Teresa Bush; great-nephew, Zachary Lott; great-niece, Katelyn Spillman; and a half sister, Deby Seal.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Mason and Vondell Moody Wood; her twin brother, Terry Wood; and her sister, Barbara Lott.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Feb. 6, from noon until time for the service at 2 p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, with the Rev. Derek Dantin officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
