Varnado’s Lady Cats were defeated by Kentwood, 43-29, in a District 9-2A contest that was held on Tuesday on the road.

Jakyra Daggs led Varnado with 13 points.

Myeasha Peters posted seven.

Jalisia Jackson recorded five.

Myeshawn Fox tallied three.

Tyriah Davis put up one.

Varnado’s next game will take place on Jan. 28 at home against Pine.
