Lady Buccaneers win against Columbia, Centreville

Bowling Green School’s Lady Buccaneers went 2-0 in road games held on Tuesday and Thursday against Columbia Academy and Centreville Academy.

On Tuesday, Bowling Green was victorious over Columbia Academy, 30-24.

Claire Wascom was the Lady Buccaneers’ leader in points with nine. Wascom pulled down four rebounds, dished out an assist and made two steals.

Chloe Bertrand posted six points, a rebound and three steals. Bertrand made all four of her free throws.

Bailey Devall recorded six points, three rebounds and two steals.

K.K. Seal posted four points, a rebound and two steals.

Hope Crowe had three points on a 3-pointer with a rebound.

Bridget Devall posted two points, a rebound, two assists and a steal.

Peyton Dupuy pulled down two rebounds and made a steal, while Anna Claire Crowe grabbed two boards and made a steal.

Thursday’s game was a 66-48 victory over Centreville Academy.

Bailey Devall led the way, as she posted 25 points on 10-of-17 from the field. Devall made a 3-pointer and recorded six rebounds, an assist, two blocks and four steals.

Wascom tallied 13 points, six rebounds, an assist and three steals.

Bertrand had 11 points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal.

Anna Claire Crowe put up nine points to go with seven boards and an assist.

Bridget Devall posted four points, two rebounds and two assists.

Dupuy had two points and a rebound.

Seal recorded two points, two rebounds and three steals.

Hope Crowe pulled down a rebound and dished out an assist.

Bowling Green’s next game will be on Jan. 28 against Silliman at home.
