Tina Nicole Robinson was born Sept. 3, 1973, in Bogalusa, to the late Ruth Helen Robinson and Robert Lawrence Hicks.

Tina loved cooking, baking, decorating and helping others. Her passion was to go back and volunteer at the rehabilitation places to help others.

Tina leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Amaya Robinson of Bogalusa; 10 sisters and brothers, Cashaundra Robinson, Roderick Robinson, Kiley Kilbourne, and Liborio Taylor, all of Bogalusa, Keela (Eugene) Burdis and Keeda Hicks of Prairieville, Rodrick Alexander of Harvey, Madeline Martin of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Nina Dillon of Dustin, Texas; grandmother, Valeria “Jack” Hicks; aunts and uncles, Deborah (Charles) Plummer of Baton Rouge, Mary McCloud of Bogalusa, Katie (Gilbert) Williams and Bonnie Robinson of Harvey, Ill., Barbara Collins of Bogalusa, Charles Hicks of Washington, D.C., Gregory (Gloria) Hicks of Baton Rouge, and Bernice Walker of New Orleans; a special great-aunt, Carol Burris of Avondale; a great niece, ZaKayla “Poo” Robinson; special friends, Renada Brown, Kosha Cotton, Robert Brock, Derolodi Bickham and Reginald Stallings, all of Bogalusa, and Tavaran Sartin of Chalmette; a special cousin, Curtis Abram; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth Helen Robinson and Robert Lawrence Hicks; grandparents, Oree and Henry Robinson and Robert “Bob” Hicks; aunts, Carolyn Robinson Brown, Nora Robinson Morris and Valeria “Pena” Smith; uncles, Clifton Curry, James E. Robinson, Henry L. Robinson and Fred L. Robinson; and one cousin, Michael J. Robinson.

The funeral service was held on Saturday, Jan. 8, at 2:30 p.m. at Antioch Church of Christ Holiness with Elder Robert Peters officiating. Interment was in the Bogalusa Cemetery.
