Mr. Shawn Ledell Fox Sr. departed this life on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa.

Shawn worked at the Walmart Distribution Center in Robert, as a truck driver/laborer.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. Joe (Mary) Smith and Mr. Henry (Charlotte) Conley; aunts, Mary F. Bruns, Mattie C. Wallace, Pamela Smith, Mary S. Fields and Debra A. Smith; and uncles, Walter Fox Sr. and John Henry Conley.

He will be fondly remembered and loved by his wife, Mrs. Amanda F. Fox; parents, Ms. Penny S. Mack and Mr. Ernest (Central) Fox; his children, Shawn L. Fox Jr., Aleia Brianne Fox, LaKimbra Johnson, Kionti R. Fox, Jaleyia Dewey, TreShawn Fox, MyeShawn Fox, Ty Ledell Fox and Leilani R. Fox; stepson, Darren (Trey) Elliot; granddaughters, Brielle, Skylar and Kania; grandsons, Kingston, Kobe and Kyrie; god-son, Rashard Smith; sisters, Felicia F. Talbert of Euless, Texas, Fredrica (Eric) Paulk of The Colony, Texas, Myline Abrams of Irvine, Texas, and Kieona Fox of Bogalusa; stepsister, Pamela Daniels of DeSoto, Texas; brother, Karon Weary of Columbia, Miss.; aunts, Lucille Bland of New Orleans, Cynthia S. Jackson and Gwynderlyn Smith of Bogalusa; uncles, Arcel Bland of New Orleans, Joseph L. Smith of New Orleans, Richard W. Smith and Glynn E. Smith of Bogalusa, and Joe Conley of Ft. Worth, Texas; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

A drive through viewing will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 18, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 11 a.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Nolan Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Bogalusa Cemetery.
