Due to the prevalence of COVID-19 in Washington Parish, the Louisiana Civil Rights Trail marker unveiling ceremony originally scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, has been postponed.

The ceremony was to occur at Bethlehem Baptist Church and the Robert “Bob” Hicks Home. A new date will be announced soon.
