Varnado’s Wildcats were defeated by Kentwood, 71-42, in a District 9-2A home game that took place on Friday.

Dameon Roberts Jr. filled up the statsheet, going for 22 points, seven rebounds, six assists and two steals.

Quanta Peters posted 16 points with five rebounds and five steals.

Varnado’s next game will be against Pine on Jan. 11 on the road.
